Gnezdo (The nest) – Bozena Helena Mazur-Nowak / Translated into Serbian by Valentina Novkovič

Poem by Bozena Helena Mazur-Nowak

Gnezdo
(The nest)

Nekad je smetalo gnezdo
zbog buke mladih ptića
mekog paperja
što su na ptičje mlekomirisali.
Sada je tako prazno.

Ptići su već odrasli
U prostrani svet divljine odleteli
Neka svoja gnezda svili
Porodicu zaboravili

Stara, usamljena majka sive boje
Tupim, kratkim pogledom
Spušta glavu na ivicu gnezda
I gleda u daljinu

Suze u njenim očima su smrznute
U srcu je njenom gorka bol
Od svake senke u letu
U koju gorljivo gleda nadajući se
