MY GLORY LIVES FOREVER / Poem by Rhoda Adinoyi

Poem by Rhoda Adinoyi
Like a thief in the night
When the eremite bell gives sign of my fled
No longer lament for my dwell on the spirit
Coz my body shall have the dregs of life dead
After crossing the bar, mourn not
For the hand that writ, my dear loves
For i go with the spirit that hurt
And that in your sweet mind, measure my deeds
Perhaps if you read this verse line by line
If thinking of me will make you woe
It’s your sweet love eating in sorrow’s dine
My spirit consecrated in your heart shall sow
Without confine, i shall be carried away
But with my glory still with you shall stay.
