EDEN PAGDANGANAN SORIANO -TRINIDAD was born in San Agustin Iba,Zambales, Luzon Island Philippines.

Her passion for reading and collecting books started since she was 4 years old, and her mother is the first one to notice her love for reading. Normal little girls would play dolls with her playmates but she instead spent her time reading and listening to her first musical Nursery book of rhymes. She also love reading poems and at early age she had been reciting, delivering poems in her school programs also in church programs and during family events.

As the first grandchild, her grandmother Rebecca Sarmiento Pagdanganan, gave her a bible when she was 8 years old making her so drawn into it she started to try writing short story and poems. Her first story was submitted to her Grade 5 teacher, but never again returned to her the copy of fit.

Eden writes from her heart like her first favorite poet and author Helen Steiner Rice whose book of Poems of Faith and Poems of Love have inspired her to write too. She kept scribbling thoughts, ideas, in any paper within her reached when thoughts strike her even on table napkins, paper bags and on her gadgets. Writing poems is just to unload what is in her heart and mind. Without really revealing what she really meant sometimes.

She became so much inspired to write more upon meeting the father of Pentasi B and father of Visual Poetry Doc Penpen Bugtong Takipsilim that even in her too busy schedule as School Director she still gives time to write poems to inspire too the young generation. She continue writing poems to help promote among people of all nations peace, love, unity, building bridges of friendship, for global healing, harmony and understanding to inspire humanity through poetry. This is the heart, the Vision and Mission of Worldwide Poetry group Pentasi B which she is a member.

She is one of the main author of the book “PLETHORA OF POETRY, a book of Poetry by the Zambaleno Poets.

Recently, she felt awed with the beautiful books and poems of Mr. Agron Shele she saw posted in his FB and website ATUNISPOETRY.com especially the “White Stones

Poems”. She now wishes to write more and be published her works in International Anthologies like atunispoetry.com though she felt her works are very amateur.

She writes and composes poems in English and Filipino languages, and Sambal dialect.

Eden loves to recite poem at a very young age. She has been reciting and delivering poems since she was 4 years old. During her Elementary to College years, she often represent her school for Oratorical, Declamation contests and programs. She was also a Mimist and did several monologues. Her talent was undeniably apparent that her Drama class teacher and the President of Harris Memorial College in UN Avenue Manila Dr. Zenaida Lumba and her Professor Dr. Bunyi chose her to be the led star in two (2) Musical Dramas, performed in their college auditorium. She was the Mimist in “Light Shine”, and the led star in “Jonah’s Tale of A Whale”.

A Bachelor of Kindergarten Education at Harris Memorial College in United Nations Avenue, Manila, Philippines and a License Professional Teacher (LPT).

Pioneered and established LUCIO ABRIGO MEMORIAL LEARNING CENTER, INC (LAMLC) in July 4, 1991 from Pre Elementary to Intermediate level. Now, with complete Junior High School Level.

She is the Pioneer teacher, School Principal, Incorporator and Vice President of the Board of Trustees and presently the School Director of LAMLC in San Agustin Iba, Zambales, Philippines.

A leader by nature and dedicated educator, teacher, children and young people are particularly close to her heart. She wants to give more time and contribute in spreading and inspiring the young generations through poetry. To inculcate in their young minds that in poetry they can express their feelings and avoid a lot of bad vices.

To get them addicted, fall in love in poetry writing, composing, thinking, creating using their gadgets. Not just play games or taking selfie and stalk their friends in social media.

Inspiration for Humanity and Global Healing
We have sowed mustard seeds
Seeds of hope, seeds of inspirations
Sow the seeds of unity to young lads
To their tender hearts and young minds
to be productive and be inspired
Inspired to carve poems of love, peace and not pride
Poems they’re now scribbling with their ballpoint
Ballpoint carving couplets, quatrains and Haikus
Haikus we used to play games
Games to inspirit and liven their minds
Minds to strew the seeds to their play mates
To carve and pen beautiful ballads and sonnets
Sonnets then novels to inspire the nations
Nations whose heart are hardened by their selfish ambitions.
These young brilliant minds will be awakened
Awaken to bestow and impart hope, peace, for the next young generation
No more irascibility, no more hates, no more- condescension
Do not just preach to this young generation
Maybe indifferences will not end, maybe no one will no longer listen
Preaching-teaching? Why not more of sowin and propagation
It should not remain as just vision of United Nation
Propagate by sowing the seeds of UNITY, HOPE, PEACE and LOVE
To every Nations.

Can rain wash away some memories?
Memories glued in my consciousness so deep
Deep is the joy and misery it brought to my fragile tender heart
Heart that longs for someone I love
Love is a feeling so wonderful always
Always making us giggle – hearts palpitating
Palpitating too when you are nervous
Nervous when words are not enough
Enough to convey the emotion you cannot contain
Contain in your mind and vocal cord
Cord of happiness tie around your neck
Neck laces of pearls and precious gems
Gems that are rare to find don’t let disappear
Disappear in my thoughts I will not concede
Concede to leave me not and forget our love
Love, love will come to you no matter what.

Read and dedicated to Miss Sophy Chen
during the Awarding Night
in Okada Hotel Manila
Modern day Slavery
You seek helpers so someone could take care of your households
You employ maids so someone could do the house hold chores
You hire nannies so someone could take care of your kids.
You pay workers so someone could manage your industries.
They are not pigs!
They are not robots!
They are not your puppets!
They are not your house slaves!
They are hired as house helpers.
They applied as nannies for your tots.
They worked as domestic helpers.
They worked to earn a living..
Seeking for a domestic helper but actually want a slave
Keeping their passports and without day off
Working as house maids does not give you the right to enslave
Expect them to work thoroughly yet deny them sleep and not eat decently.
Is humanity only for men in power, the rich and famous?
That workers and house helpers are your properties?
Oh where is humanity in all of this?
For you they are not human but just slaves.
