GUARDA

Lascia che sia il cuore a guidare
i tuoi passi,
guarda quanto dolore avvolge
il mondo intorno,
i rami verdi fruttificano e
i fiori spuntano,
la terra si colora e profuma
e il cielo si tinge d’azzurro.
Mille splendide stelle illuminano
il cammino della notte,
i piccoli cuccioli appena nati,
succhiano le mammelle
abbondanti di caldo latte,
ristoratore alla loro fame
insaziabile.
Piccoli attaccati al seno e voraci,
cucciolate primaverili accolte,
protette e amate.
Guarda il sole che accende il cielo,
riscalda la natura tutta
e ti dona il calore della pace
di Dio, conforto e guida,
rende fruttuosi e produttivi i campi
e la pioggia innaffia e dona
ristoro e vita.
Osserva i passeri e gli animali tutti
che, senza zappare, né seminare
o innaffiare, senza coltivare,
trovano il necessario al loro
sopravvivere esistenziale
e quotidiano.
Tu solo, uomo, ti affanni ingordo e
presuntuoso, invidioso e malvagio
cattivo e prepotente,
desideri tutto e più ancora
e non ti curi di chi non ha nulla
e piange e soffre impotente
del suo non poter sfamare i suoi
“cuccioli” affamati .
Tu, indifferente, ti volti altrove e
non guardi e non porgi la mano,
cammini distante e non senti
il rombo delle guerre e delle bombe
che portano dolore e fame e morte.

LOOK

Let it be the heart that drives
your steps,
look how much pain envelops
the world around,
green branches fruit and
the flowers sprout,
the earth is colored and perfumed
and the sky is tinged with blue.
A thousand beautiful stars light up
the path of the night,
the little newborn puppies,
they suck the breasts
abundant of hot milk,
restorative to their hunger
insatiable.
Small attached to the breast and voracious,
spring litters welcomed,
protected and loved.
Look at the sun that lights the sky,
it warms the whole nature
and gives you the warmth of peace
of God, comfort and guidance,
makes the fields fruitful and productive
and the rain waters and gives
refreshment and life.
Observe all sparrows and animals
that without hoeing or sowing
or watering, without cultivating,
they find what is necessary for them
survive existential
and daily.
You alone, man, you care greedy and
presumptuous, envious and evil
bad and overbearing,
you want everything and more
and do not worry about those who have nothing
and cries and suffers helplessly
of his not being able to feed his own
Hungry “puppies”.
You, indifferent, turn you elsewhere and
do not look and do not shake hands,
walk away and you can not hear
the rumble of wars and bombs
that bring war and hunger and death.
