Monsoon Romance / Poem by Sunita Paul

Poem by Sunita Paul

Monsoon Romance

The petrichor reminds me of your manly smells
Each time it leaves a magic spell
The parched earth’s thirst is quenched
So does my soul feel as it is drenched
As the loving monsoon showers on me
The seduction in your eyes I see
Irresistible impulses flow within
It’s long time so close we had been
Come rain on me , let the flames die
With you I have never been shy
As everything looks fresh after the rains
I too feel rejuvenated as I dive in your arms again.
