THE DARK NIGHT EAVESDROPS

When the humming bees are gone
the forlorn daisy
is in fidget
and begins to coax
with balmy wind
bidding :
“Do not fare so indifferent to me!”

The wintry night
sprawls
from the high hills
and glistening icicles
begin to envelop
parched grass
sprinkling
passionate love.

Then the glaring moon
splashes
tender light
over the luscious meadows
invigorated by fireflies
prancing
in brisk gambol
marinading
love with ecstasy
to pierce through
penitent soul.

The dark night
eavesdrops
the furtive caress
by the wind to the grass
in deep slumber!

BURGEONING LEAVES OF FAITH

As we begin to proceed
The journey of life
We are asked
To wear the veil of time
And carry the bags of destiny!

And we head
Facing masquerading whims
Trying to emaciate
Streaming webs of life.

But we strive to collect
Infinite light of universe
As beacons for the move
Lest we not fall
Goading—–
Sprouting vigil
Of resolve
As if it were a green plant
Popping out shoots
In wily rays
To bloom in summer!

A plant we are—-
With several branches
Of destiny
With flowering hopes
And burgeoning leaves of faith!

HILLS

Hills clasp wind
Horizons chase trees
Casting shadow……

Piercing rocks
Cause
White blood to spill
Seeping
Like our woes …..

The moon in drapery
Mist covers bush
Glistening petals
Like emerald lights.

Dreams tumble
Like snow balls
Capsizing eyes
In the solitary hearts!
