Dr. Basavaraj Naikar, Professor Emeritus and Former Professor & Chairman, Department of English at Karnatak University, Dharwad 580003 is a bilingual creative writer and critic both in English and in Kannada. He has published a total of about seventy books in both languages, out of which four novels, three novellas , two short story collections and three plays in English are well known.
