PHOENIX

Can tears ever wipe
The stains
Off the heart ?

Can blood ever diffuse
The hues
Of Spring, so radiant ?

Someone’s mind
Burns in
Pattering drops of rain ;

Memories of friendship
Peep from dead ashes
In scorching heat even .

.

I REALLY CARE

Ghosts and spirits
Witches with shrilly voices
All these superstitions
Scary to me .

Wild animals in my close jungle
Fawning their teeth
Docile when I see them with love
I care them .

Hot headed rapists
And criminals
I care and reform
With love and affection .

Looking forward to
Care packages
For the famished kids
So as to bring smile to my wife ;

What I really care is the day
The ghosts will evaporate
The crimes will seeth
And the animals will let me be .
