Poem by Monika Ajay Kaul
These “March Melodies” ….!!
From tree clumps along the avenue,
the tweedle arrived in rythms and rhyme.
The songbirds sing to one another
in a merry melody, fetching a simper smile.
Tweets rippled through the scarcely-lit trees,
as if awaiting, the nascent rays of the dawn.
First few notes surge many more timbres’,
composing the chorus, elegant as a symphony.
Chirps arrived in a pattern, frank and free,
my musings beginning to dance to the melody.
These ‘March Melodies’ and ‘Spring Songs’;
lastly summoned serenity to the soul.
