Poems by Jagdish Prakash

A few words then silence

Like drought after rain

Like happiness then lingering pain

Like a sparkle then a deep stain

When the words flow, flow the feelings

The rainbow on a misty horizon

And then a lull, silence, void, vacuum

Something gets lost within

The rainbow vanishes in a blink of an eye….

The lonely moon broods

The silences shriek

Icicles of memory start melting

I feel your silhouette

Touching my body pores

Waiting for you to speak a few words

before the moon travels westwards!
