Flowers / Poem by Sunita Paul

Poem by Sunita Paul
When the day breaks and world wakes
Even the flowers don’t know till date what is in their fate
Where their place will be ,
they wait until destiny lets them see
In temples or funerals
Hospitals where heart fail
In beloved’s hand or pages of a book
In a rich decorative vase with artificial look
Sometimes loved , at times ignored
But a flower never forgets to bloom ,
Be it a sunny day or weather so gloom
Come what may , they wither and decay
But they spread their love and fragrance in their own special way
If they can do then why can’t we
Just live the moment now as we wannabe.
