AUTUMN JEWELS / Poem by Natalia Govsha

AUTUMN JEWELS

Here autumn touched the ground

by her heel,

descending from the cloud,

evening-pink.

And wandering around,

covered

in golden sadness …

You close your eyes …

And hold excited breath …

Moon dust has flown down

on your hair,

and on your lips,

and on your outspread hands.

It’s scattered through the darkness,

timeless …

And silver tingles and excites

the air,

The silvered leaves ring gently

everywhere,

and touching the vibrating silence

and the diamonds

of refined rain…

October night

in a starlit jewelry dress

behind the glass on silvered grass,

covers the nakedness of golden light…
