LIFE SKILLS

A reporter and photographer are here

The participants introduced themselves

Welcome to Life Skills

The class has started

What do participants learn here?

Simply,

To live in a world

Free of alcohol and drugs,

To confront attitudes and beliefs,

Learn to express their feelings,

Recognize specific behaviours,

Take responsibility for their actions,

Respect other people’s feelings,

Respect themselves,

Have their own opinion

A reporter and photographer are here

The class has started

Everybody wants to skip

But, if you’re a recovering addict or alcoholic,

Dropping out is not an option

It is better to stay clean and sober,

Free of alcohol and drugs

Although you have no money

A reporter and photographer are here

I learned how to listen

It is not a secret,

Some people are hooked on drugs,

Some people have fallen so low,

They become homeless

Get off the streets and learn how to live

Don’t harm yourselves or others

Study proverbs and pray in the morning

These are daily chores

The locals are cooking a meal

It is time for the distribution of humanitarian aid

I hope everyone is clean

And holding a job,

But there is no money at all

This is the life skill

You missed before

This is your last chance

Don’t miss

A graduation ceremony at the local church

Don’t miss

A graduation free of alcohol and drugs,

A graduation free of money

A reporter and photographer are here
