Poems by Agron Shele

ON THE LAKE SIDE

Autumn would forget the lake, but not me.
I arrived always near you,
In bare foot,
Feeling more your warmth

Below the knees are dropping the waves,
Shaking, whispering;
They are looking again on the other side,
Are extinguished in the deep darkness

Doves escaped,
Humans did the same,
Only the voice of diamond doves
And my lonely steps.
(Memory is written in papyrus,
In order to refresh the past memory…..)

Extension of exhausted waves,
A dawn over your glass,
Shining ribbons, cut,
Thoughts that depart far away,
Thoughts that are never going to stop…

Uvijek sam ti dolazio blizu,
Bosih nogu,
Tako sam više osjećao tvoju toplinu

Valovi bi se spuštali,
Tresli, šaptali;
Gledali bi opet na drugu stranu,
Nestajali u dubini tame

Golubovi su pobjegli,
Ljudi su učinili isto,
Jedino glasovi dijamantnih golubića
I moji osamljeni koraci.
(Sjećanje je zapisano na papirusu,
Kako bi se stara sjećanja vratila…)

Nestajanje iscrpljenih valova,
Svitanje preko tvoje čaše,
Sjajne trake, rez,
Misli koje odlaze daleko,
Misli koje nikada neće prestati…

MY MUSE

My muse!
What beauty do you hide inside sunsets?
What dreams resurfaced beyond freedom?
What song is playing through an abysmal terrain?
What rays is it demanding in the darkening evenings?

My Muse!
Remained on top of a silent abyss,
I am attacking silence through a dissolved eternity.
Everywhere I see an elderly dusk
appears on any corner a revitalized sunrise.

My muse!
Years and grey hair just like giant rocks,
Are whitened in hidden clouds.
Carved soul from a dried pen,
Is shaken, torn apart, away in the unknown.

My muse!
Perhaps you arrived as punishment within drunkenness
Or as a shivering game of dizziness?
I breathe girl’s eyes hidden in you
And tears returned into a topaz.

My muse!
As a blessed breath pressing in forgiveness,
Since we awoke as poets in a sun rise.
Peaceful Sun sets brewing
Days are going faster with a fast track….

Moja muzo!

Moja muzo!
Ostao sam povrh tihog ponora,
Napadam tišinu kroz otopljenu vječnost.
Svugdje vidim kako se postariji suton
Pojavljuje u svakom kutu ponovno oživjelog izlaska sunca.

Moja muzo!
Godine i sijeda kosa su poput divovskih stijena
Pobijeljeli u skrivenim oblacima.
Izrezbarena duša iz isušenog pera
Protresena je, rastrgana i otišla daleko u nepoznato.

Moja muzo!

Mirno Sunce vrije,
Dani brže prolaze na brzoj stazi….

YOU WERE LOST

You were lost completely unexpectedly
in the intersection of roads,
without lights,
not even green lights with the colors of poets
you were lost through the clouds of thoughts
dissolved after the suffering screams of soul.

You were lost in the stars a thunderstorm of the west
Dreams that are meek on angel looking wings
A phantasm of peaks that touch fantasy
Of fiery loves,
That darkness suffers.

You were lost deeply in the sea’s blue color
And through tornadoes that shake lives
A tip of the iceberg that that touch the
…..And of fates,
Beleifs of desires that are sinful to anyone.

You were lost in the first depth of winter
Icebergs of feelings frozen in the park,
…..decorating the childish life without luck
From pain
And the cold is frightened with sadness.

You were lost deeply in view
From eyes that touch endless horizons,
Eyebrows that are tired from the days of waiting
And the last tears
Glassy crystal washed by sadness

Lost misunderstanding a life of abandonment
Of scenarios of symphony of pain
Of times that have gone swiftly without notice
Turbulent over feelings
Living under worry

You were lost in the shelves of writing books
And of the ink that is erased this forgiveness
Waves of words burned in passions
Waves of words burned in love.

IZGUBILI STE SE

Izgubili ste se potpuno neočekivano
Na raskrižju puteva,
Bez svjetlosti,
Čak i bez zelene svjetlosti u bojama pjesnika,

U snovima krotkim pred krilima anđeoskog izgleda,
U fantomima vrhunaca koji dodiruju maštu
Vatrenih ljubavi,
Tamo gdje tama pati.

Izgubili ste se u dubinama plavetnila mora
I u tornadima koji tresu životima
Na vrhu ledenog brijega koji dodiruje modrinu
…. I u sudbinama,

U ledenim santama osjećaja smrznutih u parku
Bolom ukrašavajući djetinjasti život bez sreće,
U hladnoći preplašenoj tugom.

Izgubili ste se u dubokim pogledima
Očiju koje dodiruju beskrajne horizonte,
U obrvama umornim od dana čekanja
Iu posljednjim suzama,
Staklenim kristalima ispranim tugom.

  1. Wonderful poems my dear friend Agron Shele. Many beautiful lines need to quote but to mention one excellent sample:
“Below the knees are dropping the waves,
    Shaking, whispering;
They are looking again on the other side,
Are extinguished in the deep darkness.”
My Heartiest Congratulations to you Dear Great Croatian Poetm Vesna Španić. All the Best.
